251379_884450776757_3698778_n-copy-copy Making: Many, many crafts for Oliver’s big First Birthday next month!
Cooking: Dinner. Actual Dinner. One of my resolutions was to make more dinners for my family and I think I’ve managed to cook more this month than all of 2013.
Drinking: Lately red, red wine. One glass a night while I enjoy the 15 minutes of quiet before I can’t keep my eyes open anymore.
Reading: I’m actually reading a book! (chalk it up to January and another resolution) “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green
Wanting: A house to make our home, desperately.
Looking: At Oliver, every second I can. Not only is he too cute to look away, but if I do he literally might kill himself while running rampant and only reaching for sharp objects and wires.
Playing: Puzzles, peek-a-boo, splish splash in the bath and tickle monster.
Wasting: Time Wisely on this here blog which is sometimes such a personal thing even though it’s shared on the internet.
Sewing: Buttons, Oats, I don’t sew.
Wishing: for warmth and sunshine and the smell of sunscreen.
Enjoying: phone conversations with my best girlfriends, they keep me sane.
Waiting: for this sickness to be over with…
Liking: The slow country music playing through my headphones as I write this post
Wondering: When Oliver will say “mama” because he knows that’s my name.
Loving: The separation anxiety phase which keeps two little arms wrapped around my neck at all times.
Hoping: for an increase in inventory in the housing market.
Marveling: At a life bearable without an overdose of social media.
Needing: A massage
Smelling: Daisy, Marc Jacobs-daily.
Wearing: leggings and an oversized knitted sweater.
Knowing: Nothing for certain.
Thinking: How I’m going to have to pull myself out of bed to make lunches and bottles and iron tomorrow’s work clothes. When all I really want to do is close this laptop and roll over to sleep.
Feeling: sleepy and depleted.
Bookmarking: Brunch On Chestnut
Giggling: At all of Oliver’s new facial expressions.
