Hi there! Sorry for the small radio silence this week, turning 30 really kicked this girl’s butt. Plus, there was lots of activity. Pumpkin patches, concerts, out-of-town guests make for not enough hours in too many fun days. Which is basically my take away from this milestone birthday. Life is short. Indulge, enjoy and make the most of it! Keeping in line with this manta, here is an amazing fall drink that I know you will love.
3 cups whole milk
1 cup pumpkin puree1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 ounces white chocolate, roughly chopped
- Heat the milk, pumpkin puree, spices and vanilla in a sauce pan until it just starts to simmer and remove form heat.
- Add the chocolate and stir until it has melted.
- Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon.
