Friday Links!

It’s always a bonus to have a short week following a three day weekend. I’m glad it’s already Friday. Our family has had tons of weekend plans for weeks now (zoo, fair, Renaissance festival-pics to come soon!) and we are whooped. So this weekend is all about relaxing and the return of football. Hope you all have great weekends!

Closet-I know I’m not the only one who is ecstatic about the Phillip Lim collaboration with Target. The countdown is ON people! September 15th is just around the corner and I have my eye on several pieces, including this black bag that is mine the day of-I’ve been needing a new solid black leather bag for fall/winter and this couldn’t be a better price point or more in line with the style I was after.

Palette-Football Sunday calls for amazingly yummy snack foods. Chris and I have perfected the crock pot rib, letting them simmer in their delicious juices for most of the day and then tossing on the BBQ to crisp them up at the last few minutes. These Korean Roasted Pork Ribs look delicious and I can’t wait to try the recipe.

Kiddo-I stumbled upon these CUTE Sugarboo & Co. t-shirts and I can’t decide which one I want to buy for Oliver. It’s a close call between the one pictured (Pure Love) or the Love Child one for sure. They look so soft and vintage and let’s face it, buying kids clothes is more fun than even buying clothes for myself!

Space-I’ve come to realize that I need more greenery around my house. If you notice all the rooms in catalogs that you are drawn to, they always have plants in them. It’s a nice way to add decor without adding to the nick-knack collection. This fiddle leaf fig is particularly inviting.

Come back later this afternoon to see the Blogtember entry of the day!
