It’s Friday! Finally! I feel like even though we jammed a lot into this week, it still went by slowly. It’s also Labor Day weekend which is bitter sweet, the end of summer but the beginning of fall. Although you’d never know it from the heat that we are experiencing in Minnesota. I’m looking forward to relaxing, spending time at the lake and baby proofing our home due to the little crawler we now have on our hands! Hope you all have a fantastic holiday weekend!
Closet-I’ve noticed a trend and I’m loving it. The plaid with leather thing I’m totally digging. It’s so Seattle grunge and I love a good Nirvana era. It’s perfect for the change in seasons and thankfully I have both styles already hanging in my closet. This alternative look is a breath of fresh air from the pastels from summer. I should bite my tongue but I’m so ready for my fall wardrobe I can barely stand it.
Palette-Sadly another summer has almost passed without me making homemade popsicles! That should be a crime. I couldn’t help but feel guilty when I stumbled upon these roasted strawberry and coconut popsicles from Joy the Baker. I love that they look tie-dyed too!
Kiddo-Reason #2 I’m looking forward to fall…Oliver’s wardrobe is due for some new pieces and H&M’s cute cardigans, pullover sweaters and new kicks are just too cute! I can’t wait to layer him up for the colder weather.
Space-I love this bedroom, which can be found on one of Apartment Therapy’s awesome home tours. I would have never thought to pair some of the prints and colors that he brings together in this eclectic, colorful yet clean space. The owner really does a good job on the rest of the apartment too so if you are in the mood I would check out the entire feature!
