A Family First

first

We’re back! We had an amazing vacation, which made it hard to leave the warm ocean breeze and sandy beaches. We really couldn’t have asked for a better mix of letting lose, relaxation, delicious meals and family bonding. There was about thirty of our relatives that shared two beach houses and so forgive me if I don’t picture all of our amazing family, there is just too many! The Carolinas will always hold a special place in our heart and this trip solidified the things we love most about the south. Hot nights, charming personalities and an overall slower pace which is exactly what we needed. Our days consisted of dates to the pier for nachos and margaritas, long walks on the beach, hours of charades and card games coupled with feasts like a low country boil and pancake breakfasts. We visited an Alligator farm and Ripley’s Aquarium and for our last night we walked around a nearby fairground, eating funnel cake and playing games with tokens. It was perfect.
