Spring 2013

While it’s still in the mid-forties in Minneapolis, I am hoping that my spring to-do list will set in a motion a heatwave that pushes us into the next season, thereby reinforcing my incessant need to make lists. Having moved to Minnesota in October, my husband and I have yet to experience the warmer weather this lovely state has to offer. I can’t wait to see the snow melt and the greenery come to life, the lakes enjoyed by boat rather than ice fishing and for an entire new city to come to life!

  1. Bike or run around Lake Calhoun on a sunny afternoon
  2. Picnic near “Spoonbridge and Cherry” at the Minneapolis Sculpture Gardens
  3. Visit the Minnehaha Falls
  4. Go boating on one of the MANY lakes the state has to offer
  5. Spring clean my house!
  6. Window-shop and stop for a bite in the Linden Hills neighborhood
  7. Sip drinks at one of the many rooftop restaurants in Uptown
  8. Celebrate our second anniversary somewhere quaint
  9. Train for the Minneapolis Half Marathon
  10. Breathe new life in my closet by tossing old staples and taking risks when shopping
